WHO IS BLACK CAESAR?
A NOTORIOUS PIRATE
Black Caesar was a former chieftain, known as Kente, in the Oyo Kingdom (actual Nigeria) in the early XVIII’s century. He was captured by slave traders and sent to the Caribbeans, when he eventually freed himself due to his strength and intelligence. He was later found aboard the ship of infamous pirate Black Beard.
A LIBERATOR OF SLAVES SHIPS
Black Caesar was also known for his natural leadership and strength. He created his own crew and attacked many ships in south Florida and the Caribbeans. He was known for liberating slave ships, thus adding more pirates to his crew.
PROTECTED BY THE GODS
In our world, Gods and humans share fate. Black Caesar, formerly known as Kente in his original village, is the reincarnation of the God Shango on Earth. This will help him on many occasions. One should know how powerful a god-blessed man could be.
THE LOST TREASURE OF BLACK CAESAR
During his few years as a pirate, Black Caesar conquered many ships and accumulated wealth and stolen goods. It is said that he hid 2M to 6M$ worth of treasures in his creek, within the islands of Elliot Keys, Florida. His treasure has still not been found up until today.

Jean Fall is the founder of Cinewax. He is a mission driven creative entrepreneur that started his career in 2015 with Cinewax, an association that aims to promote African cultures through films. He created Cinewax films and jumped into film production to share African and diaspora narratives to the world.

Elora, founder of Pan-Caribbean media USC, promotes Caribbean unity through African history, publishes children’s books, offers online news for the diaspora, and produces a documentary on politicized Caribbean youth.
